Which Itaewon Class Character are you?

This afternoon, we were asked to take a test that identifies our strengths and weaknesses. There were SO MANY QUESTIONS, MUMSHT.

Good thing that the format of the results was very robust so it didn’t feel like I wasted my time. Here are my results:

My results were pretty similar to my StrengthsFinder results which I shared in a previous blog post. As my friend said, it screams flower child. I am very relationship-oriented and I do tend to have very strong opinions about how people should treat each other. I’m annoying like that. :P I am also terrible at being organised and managing my time. That was never gonna be something I’m good at even though I’ve been trying to fix it all my life.

Overall, I feel like this is about 70-80% accurate. There were 60 possible strengths and that’s quite overwhelming. I think they are too specific and some of them could be combined into a more solid “strength”.

Being an oversharer, I didn’t think twice about posting my results. Apparently, I’m quite proud of the fact that I’m terrible at time management. People also shared their results with me either via the comment section or by personal message. Being a sucker for learning about humans, it’s so exciting for me to read other people’s results. It’s fun to compare results and find out how incredibly different we are despite being friends. I also find so much enjoyment in overanalyzing and coming up with evidence that affirm or contradict the results.

And it’s not just me. People love talking about themselves. That’s backed by science and my whole experience as a listener. While it's very beneficial to learn about yourself via personality tests, it’s not half as fun as the act of sharing the results. LOL. (I don’t know if that last part is true for introverts though.) In fact, in the early days of Facebook, all people do is answer personality quizzes like “Which color of the rainbow are you?” or “Which Harry Potter Character are you?” All day long.

Aside from loving the feeling of talking about ourselves and the sheer joy of affirming our suspicions about our friends, I think one of the secret reasons why we love personality quizzes like the one I took is because it’s a way for us to make other people understand us without having to go through the trouble of asking personal questions or actually spending time with each other. All your strong and weak points summarized in a neat little package. No drama.

Whatever the reason is, getting to know yourself and trying to understand others is essential to our personal growth. Even the buzzfeed quizzes which are the junk food equivalent of personality tests is still worth taking if it makes you examine your actions and illuminate your blindspots. As they say in Ancient Greece, “Know thyself.”

P.S. I couldn't find a "Which Itaewon Class Character are you?" quiz. But if I'm going to assess myself, I'm a bit like Saeroyi in that I have very strong morals and very accepting of people. I'm also quite optimistic like him. I'm not as hardworking as he is though. :P
